Children who have advanced in their training to the rank of yellow belt and above, move to the intermediate class. This class generally ranges from 10yrs+ and includes students at yellow, green, and blue belt ranks. It is a dynamic and energetic class where students train towards new ranks and are introduced to competitive aspects of Taekwon-Do.

Gradings

Intermediate class students progress through an internationally recognised grading system, the learning progress and development through this system varies from child to child. There are three grading's per year and most children will participate in one or more grading's. ITFNZ grading's are conducted by an independent examiner and the qualification is recognised throughout New Zealand and the world. Threshold also offers gradings as intermediate steps between ITFNZ gradings. These are conducted by the Head Instructor.
